September 18 , 2004 - OK, they're finally ready. The Virginia Parrot Head Motorcycle plates are now available from the DMV website or from any DMV customer service center. Go to any DMV office or the DMV website (http://dmvnow.com).

Do I have to be a member of a Parrot Head Club to order this plate?

No. While I encourage everyone to join a club and help better our communities, anyone can order the plate.

How many more applications do you need to get to the required 350?

None. Zero. Zilch.

Is there a Parrot Head Club near me that I can join?

Virginia has 11 official chapters of Parrot Heads in Paradise and one in Tennessee that overlaps a portion of Virginia. Each club finds its own way to support its community. I encourage everyone to find a club near you and help give back to your own community. By joining a club you too can Party with a Purpose. How much will the plate cost?

The plate will be $10 for a generic number (####JB) or $20 for a personalized message.

How many characters can I have in my message?

Our design will allow for six characters in the message on the regular plates. The limit is five on the motorcycle plates.

Can I renew my plates by preordering with you?

No. Preordering is no longer an option.

How do I pay for the plates?

You pay DMV for them when you order your plates from them.

When will I get my plates?

The process will take as long as a standard plate.

Where do I send my application?

Turn it in at any DMV sevice center.
