All events will be held at our host hotel -

MidWinter Mini Mart

We have some additional space downstairs this year and will be setting up a separate vendors area at the Meltdown for the first time. Interested vendors may contact us at info@midwintermeltdown.com for information on participating in the MiniMart.

PHC Attendance Contest

The Parrot Head Club (outside of Parrotheads of the Old Dominion) bringing the most attendees to MidWinter Meltdown 12 will be recognized from the stage, be presented with a special prize, and have bragging rights for the next year! So, start getting after your folks now so your club can be in this year's winner's circle!!

Complimentary Weekend Raffles

We will presenting two lucky winners each with a great prize before the Meltdown even happens. One winner will receive a complementary weekend stay at the Best Western, and the other will attend MidWinter for free! Tickets are $5 each, with price breaks for multiple ticket purchases and will be entered into drawings for both prizes. All guests who have paid registrations are eligible to purchase raffle tickets.

Open Mic Competition

On Saturday afternoon, January 25th, we will open up the stage to a limited number of performances by interested individuals or groups to play in front of the Meltdown crowd. But it's not just all fun and games! (well, as it turns out, it is all fun and games, but with an additional purpose). We will be building a charitable element into this Meltdown party piece, as well as allowing the audience a chance to vote on their favorite performance. In addition to accolades from the crowd, the winner will receive a cash prize!

If you are interested in taking part in the open mic competition, you can write us at info@midwintermeltdown.com. Depending on the level of interest, we cannot guarantee that everyone who applies will be able to perform - so reserve early and often!
